A Demo Fit for a King(doms of Amalur: Reckoning)

Heads up, demo fans! This 2.6GB chunk of action-RPG should give you a taste of the fast-paced combat of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I say "should" because I haven't tried it yet, as I'm stuck on spotty hotel wifi at the moment. However, while it's downloading, you can read up on the encounter Mike Nelson and I had with KoA:R last month -- it won't be everybody's dream game, but those who were bored by Skyrim's combat have got to appreciate its fighting-game style (which you can see in the trailer below). Also of note is that this is a new EA game, and it's on Steam -- so EA still hasn't completely withdrawn in favor of Origin.
